The first Northern Ireland Seabird Conservation Strategy sets out a coordinated response to improve the conservation status of our internationally important seabird populations. With seabirds facing growing pressures from climate change, food shortages, invasive species and avian influenza, urgent action is needed. This strategy aims to halt decline, strengthen resilience and support recovery, working alongside UK-wide efforts to restore seabird populations for the future.
