The Regulatory Position Statement makes it clear when NIEA will not regard clean, greenfield soil as waste and where waste management controls will not be applied.
Demonstration of Compliance: You should complete the declaration form in full and submit it to NIEA prior to the movement of any soil. No formal response will be given by NIEA but you should retain the paperwork for at least two years as it may be audited by NIEA to ensure full compliance.
