    Date published: 27 July 2015

In 2012, the Analysis of the 2020 Residual Waste Infrastructure Requirements in Northern Ireland determined the residual waste treatment capacity required to be operational by 2020 if Northern Ireland was to make its due contribution to securing a better, safer and healthier environment through compliance with the waste hierarchy and associated environmental targets for landfill diversion. This report reviews and updates the 2012 Report to take account of new and changed information which has become available in the two and a half years since the original report was completed.
