A scoping consultation was initiated via the DAERA website from 27 June 2019 to 27 September 2019. The main reason for the consultation was to involve people and organisations in the development of a new forestry plan for the East Fermanagh/East Tyrone Forestry Planning Area. The consultation was designed to reflect the wide ranging social, environmental and economic aspects of forestry in Northern Ireland in a way that is likely to be both of interest to stakeholders, and, relevant to forestry planning.
