    Textiles represent a significant waste stream as a result of constantly changing trends and fast fashion.

    In the UK around 336,000 tonnes of unwanted clothing are simply thrown away in bins every year.

    In Northern Ireland, there are lots of simple ways to keep our clothing in use for longer.

    You can donate reusable clothing at designated clothing banks and charity shops and all our Local councils accept textiles for recycling at the Household Recycling Centre’s.

    Textiles 2030

    This voluntary agreement aims to accelerate the UK fashion and textiles industry towards a circular economy.
