This lough is regularly stocked throughout the season. As this is an upland water fishing can be slow to start. Large attractor fly patterns work well during the early season; small dry flies and nymphs come into their own during the warmer months.
This site is managed in conjunction with the local council as part of the Cuilagh Lakelands Geopark, and anglers should be mindful of the general public usage within this location.

Public access to the Navar PAE waters (Achork, Glencrewan and Meenameen loughs), is not currently possible due to road closure and  ongoing forestry operations within the Geopark.
