    • Environmental Farming Scheme (EFS)

Opportunities exist for qualified environmental planners under Measure 10 - Environmental Farming Scheme (EFS) of the NI Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.

    Background

DAERA invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified environmental planners who may be interested in undertaking work within Tranche 3 of the EFS (Higher) level.

The scheme is open for applications from Monday 15 April until 17 May 2019 and applicants who receive a DAERA letter of offer will be required to employ a planner to proceed. The planner must be able to demonstrate a minimum level of environmental qualification and/or professional membership and land management experience. DAERA will offer initial training and on-going support to those planners who meet the minimum level of qualifications and experience. No payment will be provided for attending this training.

    Declaration of interest

Environmental planners who believe they have the qualifications and experience needed and who wish to hear more about the potential opportunities within the EFS are invited to register their interest with DAERA by phoning 028 8675 7645 or via e-mail; EFSPlannerinfo@daera-ni.gov.uk.
