  • CAFRE Open Week: 6 to 10 October 2026

    Date published: 9 September 2026

Join us from Tuesday 6 October to Saturday 10 October 2026 to explore the exciting range of study opportunities available at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE).

Left to Right: CAFRE Student Recruitment Team members, Caoimhe Hegarty, Liz Simpson, Toni Donnelly and Laura Browne invite prospective students to explore their study options at CAFRE during Open Week from 6 to 10 October 2026.

Visitors can attend information sessions and guided campus tours to learn more about the Further and Higher Education courses on offer, as well as the wide range of careers available within the agri-food and land-based industries.

Inviting prospective students, parents/guardians and teachers to attend, Senior Recruitment Adviser Liz Simpson says: “Joining a campus tour will give you an insight into college life and the opportunity to experience CAFRE’s unique teaching and learning facilities. Visitors can explore courses in agriculture, land-based engineering, food, equine, horticulture, floristry and veterinary nursing, all of which play a vital role in Northern Ireland’s economy and sustainability.”

Whether you are a school leaver, considering a career change or simply exploring your options, CAFRE has range of opportunities to help you achieve your goals.
