Faith Stewart, from Ballymoney in County Antrim has been appointed as a CAFRE Beef and Sheep adviser for farmers across the North Antrim and Londonderry regions.
An Agricultural Technologist graduate from SAC Edinburgh, she has a strong interest in Agriculture and in particular the livestock sector. As part of her degree studies she spent time working on a Beef and Sheep farm in Aberdeen, Scotland and also on various dairy farms in Northern Ireland.
Faith will be working closely with farmers engaged in CAFRE Business Development Groups to look at opportunities to adopt new technologies and skills required to develop their farms in the current challenging situation.
The Business Development Group scheme is part of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme and is part funded by the EU.
