    • EU Exit,
    • EU Exit information for business

    Date published: 11 December 2020

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is encouraging agri-food businesses and traders to take part in the final online EU Exit awareness event prior to 01 January 2021.

The third online event, which will take place on 15 December 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00pm, will focus on imports and exports to GB, EU and Rest of the World post transition.

Agri-food business owners and traders must pre-register for the webinar

Encouraging businesses to participate, a DAERA spokesperson said: “As we approach the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020 we remain very conscious of the need to continue to engage with stakeholders and provide the most up-to-date information to help businesses prepare for changes that will come into force from 01 January 2021.

“This is the third in our series of EU Exit webinars, which have each focussed on different topics, and will be the final one before 01 January 2021. This event will focus on providing the most up-to-date information on imports and exports to GB, EU and Rest of the World post transition.

“Most importantly this event will also offer participants the opportunity to ask questions about the issues most relevant to their particular business. Registration is now open and we encourage all businesses that may be impacted by EU Exit to join us on the 15 December.”
