The Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has launched a public consultation on the draft Fisheries Management Plan for Non-Quota Shellfish in Northern Ireland.

This consultation invites feedback on the proposed Northern Ireland Non-Quota Shellfish Fisheries Management Plan (FMP) for Brown Crab, Velvet Crab, Lobster, King Scallops and Queen Scallops, including its policies, actions, and potential environmental impacts described in the environmental report.
