This site consists of seven small hay meadows that are especially species rich, with 99 vascular plant species present. Jointed rush dominates the vegetation with twelve sedge species including Carex panicea, Carex pulicea, and Carex hostianapresent. There is an abundance of orchids in the fields including greater butterfly orchid, early purple orchid and common twayblade.
