2017 Conference

Date published: 26 October 2017

NIEA are hosting a FREE one day conference for stakeholders on 'Working in Partnership to Deliver the Water Framework Directive'.  It will be at the CAFRE Greenmount Campus in Antrim on Saturday November 25th.

There will be a series of talks from the Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), Northern Ireland Water, Donegal Catchment Care, Queens University Belfast and Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute. The afternoon will consist of parallel workshops on citizen science, funding, invasive species, restoring rivers, assessing invertebrates, accessing data, a visit to a constructed wetland and the Greenmount farm. Workshops will be facilitated by DAERA, Northern Ireland Environment Link, Queens University Belfast, Rivers Restoration Centre and the College of Agriculture Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). Registered delegates will be asked which workshops they would like to attend through Eventbrite and we will aim to facilitate attendance as far as possible, though it may not be possible for delegates to attend all of their selections. Please contact us if you would like a publicity stand or space for a poster at the event.

Registration through Eventbrite is essential
