Camelids for Intra-Community trade to EU Member State for exports from 11 October 2021 onwards

These documents provide useful advice and guidance in relation to the export of camelids to the EU for breeding and production or for slaughter and have been updated to take account of the Animal Health Law Regulation for EU Trade, which came into effect 11 October 2021
Bluetongue:
- Exports to Ireland of animals for breeding and production (including fattening) is suspended indefinitely
- Exports for breeding & production to other EU member States MAY be possible if the Member State is not BT Free and allows derogations from BT requirements. - Advice regarding completion of the EHC for Member States with available derogations will be provided to the certifying vet on a case-by-case basis. Please contact daeratradeexports@daera-ni.gov.uk well in advance of the anticipated date of export.
