These documents provide useful advice and guidance in relation to exporting breeding/fattening sheep & goats to EU Member States via an EU approved export assembly centre (including special sheep sales) and have been updated to take account of the Animal Health Law Regulation for EU Trade.
Exports to Ireland of animals for breeding and production (including fattening) are suspended indefinitely
Exports for breeding & production to other EU member States MAY be possible if the Member State is not BTV Free and allows derogations from BTV requirements. Advice regarding completion of the EHC for Member States with available derogations will be provided to the certifying vet on a case-by-case basis.
