• Exports to England and Wales from all of Northern Ireland are permitted as per usual pre-Bluetongue requirements.

• Exports to Scotland from all of Northern Ireland require additional Bluetongue attestations.

  Sheep & Goats moving to Scotland for breeding & production cannot come from a premises where Bluetongue has been confirmed in the 6 months prior to movement. The Health Certificate below which is specific to Scotland, must be completed and travel with the animals in addition to the usual certification. You must ensure animals meet the additional clauses required. Please enter the Certificate number from the general GB Certificate issued by DAERA systems, as the certificate number for the Scotland Certificate so that the two match

A Supplementary Export Veterinary Certificate to allow the return of sheep from Great Britain to Northern Ireland following attendance at an Export Approved Show or Sale in Great Britain is now available and includes guidance notes on completion for the aPVP . A new application form to apply for this Supplementary Export Veterinary Certificate is also available. Note that the return of sheep from a sale requires an export certificate to be completed by a vet in GB. Full details of requirements for return from GB can be found here.
