    The proposed works comprises the installation of 7 no. pontoon restraint piles to better restrain the pontoons and reduce the movement during storm events. Following installtion of the restraint piles, the layout of the existing pontoons will be re-configured and 2 no. additional walkway pontoon units (11.5m x 2.5m) and 2 no. additional finger pontoons installed

    Project Description:
    proposed works will comprise the following activities:

    • Procurement and delivery to site of 7 No. steel piles (approximately 508mm diameter and 20m length).
    • Mobilisation of marine plant and piling plant (Jack-Up Barge, Piling Hammer, Crane).
    • Removal and temporary storage of existing pontoon units to facilitate installation of restraint piles.
    • Pitching and driving of steel piles at proposed locations.
    • Reinstating existing pontoon units into new layout and installing new pile brackets around restraint piles.
    • Installing new pontoon units and installing pile brackets around restraint piles.
    • Demobilisation of marine plant and piling plant from site.
