    • Project Description: The site is at Portballintrae, Co. Antrim. The application is to repair the slipway at Portballintrae, which will involve removal of damaged parts by cutting away, drilling and possible rock breaking at surface level, and then replacement of the damaged parts. During/ recently after the removal of the damaged concrete a trial excavation should be undertaken by hand to a depth of 100mm below proposed formation level.  This should be located against the historic wall to confirm that the base of the wall is completely below the proposed formation. A temporary bunded sea wall will be installed around the proposed slab edge using one tonne sandbags.
