    Control of major accident hazards

    A new Directive on the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances known as Seveso III was published on 24 July 2012 by the European Commission. It amends and repeals the Seveso II Directive from 29 September 2015.

    The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has launched a Public Consultation following the fourth review of the Nutrients Action Programme. The consultation is seeking views on proposals for the Nutrients Action Programme for 2026-2029.
