Under Regulation 33 of the The Pollution Prevention and Control (Industrial Emissions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013 Public Registers of Information are maintained online and historic paper copy registers are maintained in an offsite storage facility. For processes that are permitted through the district councils these are maintained within each district council’s offices. The registers contain useful environmental information about the permitted processes (including copies of the authorisation).

    Email: ipri@daera-ni.gov.uk

Please allow time for documents to be retrieved from the offsite storage facility. To arrange an appointment please contact IPRI on the number or email above to arrange a viewing time.

The online Public Register can be found at Pollution Prevention and Control permitted processes

For documents maintained by the district councils please contact each council directly.

Site inspection reports are available four months after inspection date as per regulation 26.8(c) on request from the Inspectorate.

    Advertisement of draft determinations

In order to comply with the Pollution Prevention and Control (Industrial Emissions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013 an advertisement must be placed in relation to the application on the enforcing authority's website within 3 working days from the date of draft determination. There is then a 20 working day representation period for members of the public to respond to the notification.
