Professional foresters and tree health specialists from across the UK and Ireland attended a recent event hosted by Forest Service to share knowledge and expertise on current and future risks to our tree health and woodlands.

There were 4 key note speakers at the event, Richard O'Hanlon, principal plant pathologist at AfBi provided an update on current tree pests and diseases. John Finlay, head of plant health inspection branch presented on forest biosecurity measures followed by Diane Stevenson, head of plant health policy, who provided information on a recent Chalara ash dieback consultation before Stuart Morwood, head of forest policy updated delegates on simple measures to promote forest resilience.
