Deployment of a temporary, modular floating pontoon system off Delamont Country Park, located within the Quoile Estuary, to facilitate access to Strangford Lough for Skiffiefest 2026.
The racecourse will be marked by buoys, temporarily moored to the sea bed.

Project Description: The pontoon will comprise Aquadock blocks held in place by delta anchors. The pontoon is intended to provide access for event safety craft and other small non-motorised craft. The course for the Skiffie festival (scheduled for 31 July to 2 August 2026) is 1km long with a clearly defined start/finish line marked by buoys, and a series of turning markers to facilitate 2km races.
