The Agricultural Market Report provides average prices for clean cattle and sheep and for breeding animals, as well as prices for pigs, broiler chickens, potatoes and cereals in Northern Ireland. This report is published weekly, on either Thursday or Friday.
The Livestock and Meat Commission (LMC) has provided updated finished cattle deadweight data for week 27 (week ending 12/07/25) of the 2025 year. As a result of this, the weekly agricultural market report has been revised for this week. The revisions amount to a difference of 0.2 p/kg for Steers, Young bulls and Cows, and 0.5 p/kg for Heifers at the ‘All Grades’ level.
