This page provides useful advice and guidance in relation to commercial export of pets.
Details on what is considered a commercial or non-commercial move can be found on the pet exports page Pets Exports | Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs
If the movement of your pet is considered to be a commercial movement you will need to have an Export Health Certificate (EHC) in addition to a valid EU pet passport. The EHC is generated using the EU Traces NT system, you will need to check that your vet has access to this system or else find a vet that does.
Your premises will also need to be registered for exports on Traces NT. To register your premises, (if you are not already registered with the council, see owner’s notes for guidance for more details) you can contact Armagh’s DAERA office to request an application form by emailing post.armagh-dvo@daera-ni.gov.uk .
You can use the Traces application form to provide the details your vet will need to complete the EHC. You will also need to complete an owner’s declaration, a template is available for download below.
