• Project Description: 

  • Remove rock armour.
  • Reduce level to formation and install the geotextile.
  • Place and compact aggregate.
  • Pour in-situ concrete base (Note: This will be completed on a falling tide to ensure concrete has time to set, prior to being submerged by the tide).
  • Lift precast concrete headwall into position and backfill around the toe.
  • Install concrete pipes from the headwall back to the newly constructed chamber and backfill.
  • Fix duckbill valve to the headwall.
  • Re-lay rock armour around the headwall.
