    The proposal involves the demolition and replacement of Ballyholme Yacht Club clubhouse and boathouse, reconfiguration of boat parking, provision of landscaped courtyard and amenity space, relocation of vehicular and pedestrian access, resurfacing and widening of the existing Main Slipway, closure and infilling the existing North Slipway to create new hard-standing area, installation of a rock armour revetment to the northern (full extent) and eastern wall (partial extent) of the North Boatyard, demolition of the existing finger jetty and reconstruction of a new wider reinforced concrete jetty

    • Project Description: Construction works will commence in May 2027, with an overall completion date of May 2029.
      A phasing plan for the works has been developed to try and minimise the disruption to the Club activities and neighbours of the site. The proposed phasing is set out below, however, may be subject to change following appointment of a Contractor.


      Phase 1;
      Newly proposed Boathouse constructed; and
      Temporary Contractor compound established.

      Phase 2;
      Existing boathouse demolished;
      North Slipway infilled;
      Wave wall constructed;
      Revetment constructed;
      Newly proposed Clubhouse constructed;
      Clubhouse landscaping;
      RIB Slipway construction commenced;
      Site Services installed; 
      North boat park resurfaced.


      Phase 3A;
      Existing Clubhouse demolished;
      RIB Slipway construction finalised;
      Existing slipway widened to 3m;
      Site services installed.


      Phase 3B;
      Main Slipway constructed;
      Yak Compound;
      Jubilee Courtyard/landscaping;
      Site services installed; 
      South boat park resurfaced.
