Boomer's Reservoir
Boomers Reservoir is managed by Lisburn Angling Club on behalf of the Department. This stocked rainbow trout fishery is open year-round and offers bank fishing around much of the reservoir, with seating available at a number of locations. Anglers should be aware that the reservoir is deep, with steep drop-offs along the shoreline. For safety reasons, wading is not permitted and the dam wall should not be fished during damp or wet conditions. Due to the nature of the terrain and access arrangements, the fishery is not suitable for disabled anglers.
Tickets
A limited number of day tickets are available to DAERA Game Season Permit holders and visitors of club members. Tickets must be booked in advance before fishing by contacting the Lisburn Angling Club Honorary Secretary at lisburnanglershonsecretary@gmail.com
Anglers are advised to arrange permits before travelling, as fishing is not permitted without a valid ticket.
