This is a large square-shaped body of water on the hills overlooking Belfast lough. The banks are exposed with limited natural cover so visitors should wrap up well during winter and early spring. This is a deep reservoir with steep drop-offs around the dam wall. The dam walls are easily fished but care must be taken when they are wet. This water is managed by Belfast Anglers Association on behalf of the Department.
