    From August, salmon is prevalent in this water. The clear water and rocky pools call for special fishing techniques. Shimna Angling Club manages this sectionof the river for the Department. 6 daily tickets are available at a reduced rate to all DAERA Game Season Permit Holders to fish the DAERA stretch, 8 daily tickets are available at a reduced rate to all DAERA Game Season Permit Holders to fish the club stretch (two tickets are specifically for anglers with disabilities), a further four weekly tickets are available at a reduced rate to all DAERA Game Season Permit Holders for either the
