Disease Control Zones: Licencing
You can find information about movements and licenses as required below. This page will be updated in the event of disease control zones being declared.
Movements into, out of, or within disease control zones must be licensed.
Licence Matrix

General Licence
Certain moves will be permitted under General Licence. These licences will be available at the following link.

Specific Licence
Certain moves will be permitted under a specific licence issued by the Department which must be applied for at least 48 hours in advance of any planned move.

General licence for bird gatherings
A ban on the gatherings of galliforme (including pheasants, partridge, quail, chickens, turkey, guinea fowl), anseriforme (including ducks, geese, swans) and poultry is currently in force, as part of the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ).
