    • Fisheries in County Antrim

This short stretch of canal fishes best during high water levels, when roach and bream move in from the River Bann for shelter. Pike follow these shaols of coarse fish. Numerous perch can be caught close to the lock gates. Beware of the strong current and deep water where the canal enters the River Bann.
