    BRUCELLOSIS COMPENSATION RATES FOR JANUARY 2026

    The compensation payable, for reactors and negative in contacts for which notice of intended slaughter is issued in January 2026 will be either:

    1. 75 per cent of the animal’s market value: or
    2. 75 per cent of £2892 (75 per cent of £3192 in the case of pedigree animals)

    Whichever is the lesser.
