FwNH Scheme Conditions
Farm businesses must read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions prior to submitting an application.
FwNH cannot be used to pay for environmental management activities that are already being funded on the same land area by another funding source, including DAERA. This is known as double funding.

Farming with Nature Higher Scheme Terms and Conditions
You must ensure that you only claim for FwNH on eligible land and inform the Department of any ineligible areas including land receiving other funding under contract or obligation, e.g. Habitat Management Plans (HMP’s), associated with wind farm and solar developments, Management of Sensitive Sites scheme (MOSS), Heritage Lottery Funding or other similar schemes.
Farm businesses shall not be permitted to make revisions during the lifetime of their agreement, except in instances of exceptional circumstances or Force Majeure.
Records must be kept and maintained as stated in the ‘Requirements and Controls’ sections of the FwNH Information Sheets.
