DAERA MESSAGING SERVICE
In 2025 we will be continuing to increase the use of the secure DAERA Messaging Service as a way of communicating with you as we move from the use of postal letters. You must register for an online DAERA account with either NIDA or Government Gateway so you can continue to receive your communications from DAERA. Even if you use an Agent to submit your applications it is important that at least one member of your business is a registered online user so that your business can receive notifications of a new DAERA message. On receiving the first email from no-reply@daera-ni.gov.uk, it may appear in the junk folder. If so, please move this email address to your main inbox and/or add it to your address book to ensure you receive DAERA communications.
You can register on the DAERA website at https://www.daera-ni.gov.uk/articles/registering-government-gateway-gg-and-nida-accounts or contact 0300 200 7848 and ask to speak to the Single Application Team for support to get registered or to book an appointment.
If you are already registered with a DAERA account, it is important to keep your e-mail address and phone number up to date. These can be changed online or by phone.
