This lake is part of a 332 hectare city park feature with provision for boating and other forms of water recreation. The lake is a designated rainbow trout fishery and regularly stocked with good quality trout.
This is the smaller of two man made lakes in a city park setting. It is accessible by a surfaced path connecting with pedestrian and cycle paths.

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.
