This Game fishery contains fast growing rainbow trout stocked on a regular basis throughout the year. The shores are almost all rocky and firm for wading. Fishing is not allowed in the fenced-off area at the pump house. The water is deeper and there is less weed growth near the east bank. There is also a stock of pike present in this fishery

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.
