River Blackwater
This stretch of the River Blackwater provides good quality game angling. Dollaghan, a variety of brown trout native to Lough Neagh and the River Blackwater appear on the lower reaches of the system from the first June floods. The average weight of these fish is 3-4lbs, and they are often caught in the dark. Extreme caution should be taken when wading in high waters as the flow is very strong.
